Roman Dolphin
Detail of a typical Roman bath floor in which the black subject stands out on a white background. A cogged border surrounds the dolphin, created by using traditional materials.
The original, which dates back to the II century A.C., was found during the sixties in the Cathedral of Atri, which was built on the remains of ancient Roman baths.
